Tailoring Courses: Bespoke Jacket or Pants

The perfectly fitted jacket combined with suit pants requires specialised tailoring techniques. Our tailoring classes will teach you how to achieve a flawless fit through custom, machine or fused methods. Discover the workmanship and skill that once were only passed down through generations of master European tailors right here in our Sydney campus.

The tailoring courses are split into two sections so you can learn the techniques involved in creating tailored pants and a tailored jacket separately. Each course is designed to provide students with one-on-one teacher support and the skills required to complete precise, detailed and perfectly fitted garments whilst also staying true to traditional tailoring techniques.

Students are invited to bring their chosen commercial pattern and will work on the creation of collars, sleeves, pockets, buttonholes and trims. Each design will be personally fitted by our qualified design staff, and all technical aspects of the tailoring process will be assessed and discussed in accordance with each student. All necessary fabrics as well as personalised advice will be provided through our Sydney academy, including instructions on how to begin each project discussed in the first class. This personalised support makes our tailoring courses the easiest way to master the art of tailoring and to create your perfect pants and jacket.

Both tailoring courses suit advanced sewers, and will allow for individual attention to each student. Classes are structured in a flexible manner, which will allow students to progress at their own pace. Perfection takes time, and as such, students are encouraged to work at a steady pace over two terms to complete the jacket.
