kids sewing classes

This workshop is to teach children to sew using hand stitches. Your child may choose between a charming raccoon or fox design and create a beautiful headband to accessorise their animal friend. The course is a great introduction to creative sewing and involves cutting out a pattern, layout and cutting of the pattern using felt and sewing the design.

Skill Level

The course suits children 8 years or older. Children under 12 years need to be accompanied by a helper or parent who is over 16 years of age. Great fun for a mother/grandmother and child day out.  Of course, fathers and grandfathers are very welcome too! No special skills required.

6 hours tuition / $195
(includes pattern, instructions and materials required to sew the animal and the headband).
